Spectrophotometric Analysis of Hydrachna globosa, Hydryphantes dispar and Limnesia fulgida (Acari, Hydrachnidia) species

Abstract (EN)

In this study, UV and FT-IR analysis on water mite species (Hydrachna globosa, Hydryphantes dispar and Limnesia fulgida) was carried out for the first time. Vibration frequencies of the three species was determined, and UV and FT-IR spectrum frequency ranges were determined by characterization of functional groups (OH, C-H, C=O, C-O, C-N). The obtained results were evaluated at species level. When the differences at species level is considered, functional groups between Hydryphantes dispar and Limnesia fulgida species observed to be closer. All data obtained for all species were inspected graphically and four different spectrum regions are determined. Finally, spectroscopic analysis graphs of these species were compared. As a result, graph ranges of all species that were studied were found to be considerably close. However, it had been observed that every single species has its own unique values between the peak ranges.
