Factors Influencing Political Decision Making at the Time of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, and their Analysis from a Jurisprudential Perspective. This study deals with the factors influencing political decision-making at the time of Abu Bakr and Omar and analyses them from a jurisprudential perspective. This analysis was preceded by two things: The first, is to determine what corresponds to the term political decision at the time of the study, based on several approaches, in addition to working to define the political field in that period based on the obligations of ruling, and powers of the imam identified by the jurists. Which distinguished the political and non-political decisions of Abu Bakr and Omar from in order to be able to analyse them. The second is the analysis the political decision-making process during that period from a jurisprudential perspective, representing the contemporary jurisprudence studies of these decisions under three chapters of ijtihad, and considered this classification a jurisprudential analysis from them of the decision-making process. This representation showed the problems of this analysis, which dealt with these decisions outside of their political framework. Then we presented another jurisprudential analysis of this process in its political context based on what we have reached of the distinction of Political Decision from jurisprudential ijtihad with its connection to it in several aspects. The analysis of the political decision-making process in that period contributed to identifying the factors influencing it, which we divided into four; Reference and legitimacy, the personality of the decision-maker, the people of Shura, the surrounding circumstances and the purposes and principles of Sharia. And we analysed it through models of decisions in which each of these factors emerged, highlighting the political connection to the jurisprudence in each of them.
