The relationship with the son and the parents in the ambassadors of the era of Ḥazrat Abraham

This work had dealt with the relationship with the son and the parents in the ambassadors of the era of Ḥazrat Abraham. The study had been composed of two parts. In the first chapter, the events that the ambassadors experienced with their family members had been briefly explained. During this period, it had been seen that there were many ambassadors around Ḥazrat Abraham. Their lives, parables and situations described in the Qur'ān had been briefly and chronologically touched upon. In the first part of the second chapter, the events of the prophets/rasūl in this period as ambassadors and as fathers-wives with their children had been examined within the scope of mother-father and child relationships. In this respect, the parables of Ḥazrat Abraham, Ḥazrat Lūṭ, Ḥazrat Ismāʿīl, Ḥazrat Ishāq, Ḥazrat Yaʿqūb, Ḥazrat Joseph in the Qur'ān and their relations with their children as fathers and mothers had been investigated. Again, in the second part of the second chapter, the behaviors of the children as the children of the ambassadors towards their parents, especially their fathers who are the ambassadors had been discussed. While dealing with the relations between family members, the relations that will set an example in the relations of children with their parents had been mentioned. Another point of the subject was the relations of parents with their children. In this context, it had been emphasized that the prophets/nabī were exemplary personalities in their relations with their family members. In addition, the fact that the types of relationships within the family examined here are capable of appealing to every society from the past to the present had been drawn attention. In this respect, especially for Muslim family members, the relations of the ambassadors with their family members had been associated with being an example. While dealing with the relations of the prophets/rasūl with their family members, firstly the verses in the Qur'ān, then the sources of the field of tafsīr, ḥadīth and history books, theses and articles had been benefited.
