The visit in the hadiths of Prophet (In the context of Kutub-i Sitte hadiths)

Visiting is a phenomenon that has been an essential part of human life throughout history. Because visiting somebody or somewhere for various reasons occupies a notable place in human life, in order to maintain a healthy and peaceful social life , the Muslims should follow the etiquettes of visiting in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be upon Him), which will provide them the expected benefits from the visit. In current study, it is aimed to investigate the concept and phenomenon of visiting in the hadiths of the Prophet (PBH). In this regard, tracing the way how the Prophet(PBH) treated to people during His visits and built a great social life as a result, those who follow His attitudes and manners with respect to 'visiting' will be able to build a good social life as well. The present study is comprised of three main parts apart from the introduction and conclusion parts. In the introduction part of the study, the subject and the significance of the research, the method and the purpose of the study, the related literature are stated. In the first part of the thesis, the place of 'visiting' in humanity and the use of the concept of 'visit' in the Arabic language and in the Qur'an are revealed. In the second part of the thesis, the visits made by the Prophet and those made to Him are examined. In the third part of the thesis, grave visits are mentioned. In the conclusion part, the findings obtained as a result of the research are presented. Key Words: Hadith, visit, patient, grave, visiting phenomenon.
