Some companions whom the Prophet Muhammad's prayed about themselves

This study which having taken subject some companion whom the Prophet Muhammad's prayed about themselves, has been consisted an entry and two parts. In the introduction has been referred to the subject and aim of the research and the method to be appliced in the thesis and to the resources to be referenced. In the first part, firstly, the conceptual and practical aspect of the prayer has been dealed; later, its relation between with the concept of "at-tawassul" has been analyzed. In the second part, the prayers of the Prophet Muhammad about some companions has been put forward in the accompaniment of the related companion biographies. The prayers finally, has been subjected to evaluation in terms of the prayer, the person that been prayed about and the content. The study has been ended with alphabetical index of the texts belonging to mentioned prayers. Key Words: Prophet, Companion (as-Sahaba), Prayer, Recourse, (at- Tawassul)
