Abstract (EN)

As Hz. Muhammed, the Prophet, gave a sermon for religios preaching and guidance, he also corrected same of the negativites in social life through sermons and ensured that the problems experienced were resolved. At this paint, sermons are texts that emerge not only as a reflection of the person who preaches the sermon, but also the society's agenda. Comperative text criticism method was used in this study which was conducted to determine the connection between the sermons of Hz. Muhammed, the Prophet, and the events experienced. In the study, which deals with ten sermons preached at different times and grounds, a link between the content of the six sermons and the historical background has been determined. While it was determined that the incident that happened in the text of the four sermons was directly included in the text, this relationship was indirectly reflected in the rumors in two texts. No connection between the text of the four sermons and the event was determined. It was concluded that the determination of the historical grounds provides strong data on the belonging of the sermons to Hz. Muhammed and contributes to the understandig of the words in the sermons in the correct context.
