Abstract (EN)

The subject of the study "The Slave Man andSlave Women of the Prophet" is whether the concept of "concubine" has changed or not. It was aimed to investigate chronologically before and after the prophethood whether the slaves and concubines whom the Prophet belonged in fact were his slaves and concubines, and to present them with the available resources. In the first part, concepts of "slave" and "concubine" and other concepts related to these concepts were examined and slavery was mentioned throughout history. In the second part, In the geography and society where the Prophet is sent, along with the practices related to slavery and concubinage, the relation of the Prophet to the concubines and slaves was studied. In the third part, the slaves and concubines that were assigned to him were analyzed by giving their biographical characteristics by taking pre- and post-prophethood. The statues of Cüveyriye and Safiyye are mentioned. As a result, concubinage and slavery were common in Arab society. It has been found that the Prophet had the slaves and the concubines in some way were in the process, and all of them were set free until his death. In addition, the other data about wives of the Prophet, the slaves in his service were transferred in the form of materials and an evaluation was made. Keywords: Hz.
