Abstract (EN)
The story of Prophet Joseph is discussed in detail in the holy books, the Torah and the Holy Quran. The messages given by this story in the nature of the lecture caused it to be called as Ahsenu'l-Kasas, that is, the best of the all stories. This substantial subject is often studied by poets and writers and it is not limited to writers and poets due to the extensiveness of it. It also attracted the attention of miniature artists due to the wide range of subjects. To the extent that many miniatures of this story were made by different artists in different periods. All the periods of Prophet Joseph's life are discussed in the miniatures related with the story. By subject, these periods include all the stages from Joseph's dream, to his being thrown into the well by his brothers and being removed from the well to become a Saint in Egypt. Within this context, in this study by addressing the the life of Prophet Joseph it is aimed to discuss the evaluation of the works in miniature art in terms of composition order.
