vTHE INVESTIGATION OF MANUFACTURABILITY OF PARTS HAVINGCOMPLEX STRUCTURE BY RAPID PROTOTYPING TECHNOLOGIES(M.Sc. Thesis)Burhan ÖZUĞURGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYMay 2006ABSTRACTIn this study, compare evaluation to existing and active employed out oftraditional manufacturing techniques and Rapid Prototyping techniques chosenfor prototype manufacture on contemporary world and on the other hand, thisstudy included to determine eligible method for produce will manufactureprototype and than prototype manufactured with determined method have tostatus of direct using on industry with model conversion technologies. Thisstudy can be the scope an article, firstly, research to produce built up to RapidPrototyping machine so chosen a model to answer expectations for aim of study. After the model chosen stage, built up to chosen model on the four differenttypes Rapid Prototyping machines which have excellent characters andgenerally prefer on industry. End of the all models? build up process, analyze toobtained invention and results included this study. Add to executed study, dwellupon model conversion technologies which providing conversion to differentmaterial for manufactured prototype and than case of these technologiesselection include to scope to target aim of study. As a result analyze to study inthe scope manufacturability of produces have complex and micro dimensionalfactors can executed on which systems are analyzed and included this study toperform manufacturing industry.Science Code : 708.1.140Key Words : Rapid Prototype Manufacture, Manufacturability,Quick casting, Silicon MoldingPage Number : 104Advisor : Yrd.
