vMUON REGION IN ACCELERATORS ANDAPPLICATION FIELDS (TRIUMF LABORATORY)(M.Sc.Thesis)Abdulkadir TEZCANGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOctober 2006ABSTRACTIn this work, general design of TRIUMF laboratory, it?s experiment stationsand researchs made in there, were studied. Most important applications areradioisotope production and eye treatment with proton and pion therapy.Particularly, muon region applications were studied. From these applicationsµSR technique was chosen.
