Abstract (EN)

Keywords: FDG, cyclotron, PET, flor-18, ACS TR-19 ve IBA Cyclone 18 Since 1960 cyclotrons are the most preferred acceleration devices in nuclear physics researches. The latest developments in nuclear medicine have increased the usage of charged particles (radioistopes) in diognasing and treating the cancer. In this thesis the working principle of the cyclotron which has been using effectively for producing radioisotopes to diognise tumor in some diseases. For this reason the production of FDG (Floro Deoksi Glikoz), which is used in diagnosing cancer in the PET field, has been montioned as one of the Radiofarmasotic and compared Canadian ACS -TR-19 MeV and Belgium IBA Cyclotron 18 MeV. These two accelerators hasa common equation of 18O(p,n)18F and in these devices the production of flore-18. Furthermore while the synthesized FDG around is checked, both cyclotrons activity amounts and technical properties are ducussed in this study.
