Abstract (EN)
The work titled "el-Bahr al-Medid fî Tefsîri'l-Kur'âni'l-Mecîd", which is the subject of our thesis study, is an ishari tafsir written by the Moroccan mystic and commentator Ibn Acîbe (d. 1224/1809). Ibn Acîbe interpreted the entire Quran in his exegesis Bahr al-Medid with both exoteric and esoteric/ishari methods. In our study, we investigated how Ibn Acîbe included the verses in his aforementioned work regarding Islamic family law in ishari tafsir. We tried to focus on how a mystic interpreted the verses regarding Islamic family law, which Allah clearly and definitively stated, from different perspectives such as discovery and inspiration. The fundamental issue that we are advancing on this special subject has actually maintained its existence since the third century of Islam. This issue has been examined through a special examination of the verses of Bahrü'l-Medîd regarding munakahât/family law. Our thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, summary information about Ibn Aciba's life and his scientific personality are given. In the second part, information about ishari tafsir is given in order to understand Ibn Aciba and his tafsir; in addition, the work Bahru'l-Medid, which is the subject of our thesis, is examined in general terms in terms of ishari tafsir. In the third part, a path is followed under a special title - within the scope of Islamic family law verses - in order to make healthier comments about our work. Thus, by examining the relevant verses one by one, it is determined how Ibn Aciba interpreted the verses first zāhirī and then iḥarī. As a result of the findings, it is thought that a contribution will be made to the scientific community by approaching a work written in the field of tafsir and Sufism from a fiqh perspective.
