Abstract (EN)
Although Prophet Muhammad's ghazawāt and sariyyah were the subject of the sīrah-maghāzī field, there are information about these issues in different fields. The field of hadith which is a branch of science aiming at identifying, transmitting and understanding the hadiths including the words, acts and practices of the Prophet Muhammad, is one of these fields. The books written in this area have information on every aspect of Prophet Muhammad's life. Therefore, the ratio of informations about the maghāzī in the hadith literature and the value of this information in terms of sīrah-maghāzī studies has been a matter of interest. For the determination of this issue, in this study, Ibn Mājah's al-Sunan, considered to be one of the al-Kutub al-Sitte, was considered as a sample. This book written by Ibn Mājah in the field of hadith is one of the sunan types books classified according to legal subject headings. However, since hadith works gave information about every section of Prophet Muhammad's life, there are also riwāyas about his ghazawāt and seriyyah.
