Abstract (EN)

İn this thesis, the purpose was decreasing the stress values by modeling which is changing the design of the flament winding composite vessels having the same value. The composite vessel designing contained only the cylindrical part, not spherical part. In the composite vessel [45, 55, 60, 65, 75, 90] degree winding angles were used. ANSYS software was used in the finite elements analysis, burst pressures were obtained at different orientation angles of the composite vessel and these values were compared with the composite vessels which were changed in design in the same volume. Three different designs carried out in the composite vessel. The Tsai-Wu, and maximum stress failure criteria, which are commonly used to determine damage that may occur in composite materials, are compared for both designs.
