Abstract (EN)
With respect to improvements in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology, military and civilian applications of the UAV?s become widespread. Due to the effectiveness, low maintanence costs of the UAVs with respect to manned aerial vehicles, and more importantly having no risk of losing human life make UAV?s applicaple in law enforcement. In law enforcement, UAV?s may be used in observation, reconnaissance, target designation, and visual intelligence.In the scope of this study the most effective UAV to be used in law enforcement, is tried to be determined among five UAV alternatives via using Analytic Hierarchy Process Method, one of the most popular Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods. The criteria are determined and hierarchy is constructed by means of experts opinions. And also while doing pairwise comparisons of those criteria and alternatives the experience of UAV experts and personnel are exploited. In this study Expert Choice 11.5 software is used.
