Abstract (EN)

This study aims to develop an integrated control system to prevent the loss of water for indoor places. In general these losses occur while using of the hot water, forgetting the water batteries into open during the water cuts, or due to faults in washing machine, dishwasher and indoor plumbing system. In this study, a different solution is developed for each loss type. Then, the developed three subsystems were combined and transformed into an integrated system. The cold water that comes to battery of the hot water distribution system is being recirculated and is being passed through heating source and made ready to use in suitable temperature in a very short time. Another important reason of water loss is the forgotten open water batteries during the water cuts. In this case, when there is no water in plumbing, the main valve is closed by the developed system using a pressure sensor for low pressure detecting risky situation. Another reason commonly encountered in water losses is leakages in plumber or in a system connected to the plumbing. When the leakages aren't detected, they causes big losses and material damages. Even the people may be affected psychologically according to negative situation because of these leakages. The closing of main valve can be a solution when any leakage is noticed by the humidity sensors placed in the risk area of pipe installation such as the kitchen, bathroom and lavatory. Any system developed in our country for the solution of the stated problems could not be found with our review. Although some systems have been developed abroad, this study is different from the others with regard to its holistic approach addressing all three problems together. Nowadays that the use of smart home systems began to become widespread, it is expected that the developed system will find a common use area and will provide significant contributions to employment and country's economy.
