Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is mainly aimed to show how the powers with their ideologies have formed the "city" which is a political lifetime space. The ideologies that have come into existence in an instant of history and have renewed themselves according to the current conditions of time are generally discussed as two groups in our study: main ideologies and particular-conjunctural ideologies. Main ideologies are tackled in three groups: liberalism, conservatism and socialism. And we chose Kemalism as to the particular-conjunctural ideologies which is not as universal as main ideologies and is pertain to particular societies. In our study the forms of power are generally classified as political power (the power of king), religious power (the power of clergy) and economic power (the power of capital). In context of these classification it is firstly understood that the forms of power have determined the forms of city. And we found that the political power as the power of king showed itself in ancient city; the religious power as the religious city showed itself in mediveal city; and the economic power as the economic city showed itself in capitalist-industrial city. In our study, we finally tried to show how the powers reflected their ideologies into the city environment in modern and global ages. While doing this, we gave place to three samples: France and III. Napoleon; the Bolshevik Revolution and the Soviet Union; Turkie and Kemalism. As for the global age we conclude that the dominant factor on the formation of the city environment is the neo-liberalism.
