Determination of the change of annual nutritional value and some properties of gum tragacanth (Astragallus gummifer L.) shrub growing in Igdir ecological conditions

Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the awareness between the iner and the outer of the petal with annual phenological features and the change of the nutrition value and some properties of Gum Tragacanth (Astragallus gummifer L.) shrub growing in Iğdır in ecological conditions. In 2015, the study was observed and measured between April and October along seven months that the plant is not dormant. It was determined that the contents of CP (Crude protein), NDF (Neutral detergent fiber), ADF (Acid detergent fiber), ADL (Acid detergent lignin), DDM (Digestible dry matter), DE (Digestible energy), ME (Metabolizable energy), DMI (Dry matter intake), RFV (Relative feed value), DMR (Dry matter ratio) of Gum Tragacanth shrub (Astragallus gummifer L.). It was determined Gum Tragacanth shrup's height, size and breadth with phenological features like dormant, creation of the plant shoot, bloom and fruit Gum Tragacanth shrup's soil which belonged to the inner and the outer of the petal was determined to include the contents of organic matter, lime, EC, pH, N, P, Ca, K and Mg. In this study, after the plant came out of the dormant, CP, DDM, DE, DMI, RFV decreased but NDF, ADF and ADL increased. According to this, the plant shoots showed that the highest CP, DDM, DE, ME, DMI, RFV had in April (16.04%, 58.31%, 2.77 Mcal kg-1, 2.28 Mcal kg-1, 2.29% and 104.19 respectively), lowest rates (3.82%, 43.84%, 2.14 Mcal kg-1, 1.76 Mcal kg-1, 1.61% ve 55.04 respectively) in October. However, highest rates NDF, ADF and ADL were determined in October (74.47%, 57.84% and 9.96%, respectively), lowest amounts (52.45%, 38.85%, 6.02% respectively) in April. It had observed that the plant was the shoot period in April and October, the flower period in May and August, the fruit period in June and August. Phenological observation showed that Gum Tragacanth plant developed in April and October. According to the study's area, it is determined that Gum Tragacanth shrub's height changed 70-86 cm, size changed 90-110 cm, the breadth changed 112-125. Gum Tragacanth shrub had higher K, P, Mg and Na contents in inner of petal than the outer of petal.
