Pathogenicity and fusarium species isolated from tomato (solanum lycopersicon mill) plant in Iğdir province

Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted with the aim of determiningpathogenicity and Fusarium species isolated from tomato (Solanum lycopersicon) in Iğdır province during 2015-2016. The surveys were conducted between August and November in central district of Iğdır and the villages connected to the district (Oba, Kasımcan, Kuzugüden, Hakmehmet, Akyumak, Özdemir, Sarıçoban, Yüzbaşılar, Yukarıçarıkçı, Küllük and Bayraktutan), Aralık and Karakoyunlu districts. In this study, a total of 426 tomato plants were collected from 27 locations. As a result of the isolations, 233 Fusarium isolates were obtained from diseased tomato plants. Among these isolates F. oxysporum (110) and F. solani (108) were the most isolated species. The other species isolated in the study were determined as F. incarnatum (8) and F. fujikuroi (7). The pathogenicity test was done in Super tomato cultivar with the selected isolates among the Fusarium spp. As a result of the pathogenicity test, it was determined that the highest virulence (HMK-2-6) were found as F. oxysporum (75%).
