A study on determination of ampelographic characters of native grape varieties grown Igdir province

This study was conducted within the frame of international norms to determine ampelograpic characters of Askeri, Beyaz Kişmişi, Erkek Miskali, El-Hakkı, Haçabaş, İnek emceği, Kerim Gandı, Kırmızı Kişmişi, Kuzu Kuyruğu, Miskali and Yezandayi grape cultivars grown in Igdir province between the years 2013 and 2014. The study was carried out on grape cultivars in the vineyards of producers. Ampelografic, yield and quality characteristics of the grape cultivars evaluated in the study were investigated and phenologic periods of the cultivars were also monitored. The grape cultivars identified with the study contributed to scientific literature related to the present germplasm. At the end of the study, it was determined that Vitis vinifera L. was belonged to eleven grape cultivars under the study. Key words: Ampelography, Native grape varieties, IBPGR, Iğdır.
