İhvân-i Safâ felsefesinde meâd problemi

Mankind is a complex whole, and this integrity can be understood by the combination of many components of man at different times. While the religions and philosophical views that can maintain their continuity are generally trying to overcome this concern, this issue is important for their persuasion ability. Considering philosophy and religion are in continious interaction and are influenced by each other, İhvân-i Safâ is one of the cornerstones of these two great thinking systems. In this study, we have tried to deal with death and afterlife question in İhvân-ı Safâ. Philosophers are not independent of each other. Because the opinions about humanity, the universe and God are not independent of each other, the afterlife question is a matter dealt with in these three dimensions. Meanwhile, the private lives of philosophers reflect their thinking world. In this context, the historical context was considered important, and İhvân-ı Safâ was first introduced in terms of the formation of their thoughts. Then the concept of time has been tried to be addressed. Ultimately, the basis of the afterlife understanding is based on the idea of time. Next, "the understandings of afterlife in the history of thought" is examined. Because this gives us a compact photo to understand the matter. These headlines are "Bodily Afterlife Theory", "Disembodied Afterlife Theory", " Bodily and Disembodied Afterlife Theory", Deniers of Afterlife " and" Agnostic Aproach to Afterlife ". In the end, Ikhwan Safa's afterlife thought was tried to be explained in its chronological order. In the order, the science and possibilty of afterlife, the nature and function of death, the apocalypse, the resurrection and assembling for judgment, and finally the paradise and the hell have been discussed.
