The son of Bayezid II's son Prince Ahmed life

This study focuses on the life of Shahzade Ahmed, one of the princes of Sultan Bayezid II, and his rebellion against his father Sultan Bayezid II and his brother Selim, who later became sultan. While much research has been done on Selim and Korkud, two of the princes of Sultan Bayezid II, the life of the important figure Shahzade Ahmed, whose role and effects on the stage of history have remained in the shadows, is tried to be illuminated through a comprehensive examination of the available sources to the extent possible. In the first chapter, the personal life, personality and family of Şehzade Ahmed are described. The second chapter deals with the period of Prince Ahmed's tenure as the Sanjak Bey of Amasya. Information is given about the activities of Prince Ahmed during this period, his entourage, important events, social services and his works. In the third chapter, under the title "The Rebellion of Prince Ahmed against Sultan Bayezid", the topics of his rivals, the rebellion of his brother Selim and himself against his father, the Şahkulu Rebellion and Janissary uprising that led Ahmed to the rebellion process, his seizure of Konya and declaration of his sultanate, Sultan Selim's accession to the throne and the executions of the princes are discussed. The fourth chapter covers the rebellion of Prince Ahmed against Sultan Selim: Şehzade Ahmed's seizure of Bursa, his intelligence activities and diplomatic contacts with Selim, the Nur Ali Khalifa Rebellion that emerged at that time, the partisanship of the vizier and subordinate beys, his recapture of Amasya, his wrong policies, Ahmed's entrapment, the Battle of Yenisehir, his death, his remains and tomb, and the fate of his family are detailed.
