Abstract (EN)

In this dissertation; Turkish-German Relations are considered during the Second World War.Pre-war attempts to forge an alliance,the start of war,the changing blances during the war,the Axis and the Allied nations? pressures upon Turkey,the end of the war and publications of the Turkish press having made in this period are examined. ?Remaining out of war? as a wartime strategy the Turkish foreign policy which was directed under our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk?s crucial principle ?Peace at home,Peace in the world? is brought to the fore.Turkish-German relations are primarily handled throughout the war and as the inter-allied relations and Turkish-German relations are indirectly interconnected,all these matters are thoroughly analysed.
