Between 1908-1918 when İttihat and Terakki was active, the Ottoman people showed serious reactions to issues such as the occupation and annexation corried out against the Ottoman Empire, wich accelerated the disintegration of the Ottoman state and would endanger the unity of the country. Especially after the praciamation of constitutional monarchy, in the pursuit of the invasion of Bosnia Herzegovina and Bulgaria's decleration on independence, during the opening ceremony of Cretan being pledged to alliance to Greek king and being of Cretan to Greece brought along intense reaction wich came along both political and social field. The procsess of protest, rallies and boycotts that started with the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovnia by Austria-Hungary, has been an important model that can be applied outside of war in shaping the reaction of the state and the people fort he Crete issue wich is constantly pushed into a deadlock and whose bad course is known to everyone. The boycott movement, wich was organized in 1910-11 after the Crete issue: turned into a systematic, planned an programed struggle. The reasons, organization, functioning, effects and termination for the mass protests and boycotts against the Cretan İssue; how it's covered in the press and the role of the press in guiding the public at this point; the reactions of states affected by these movements; the attituades and situations of the Ottoman Greeks in the face of the events that took place are within the scope of the study. The main purpose of the study is to deal with all against Greece in 1910-11, especially due to the Crete issue.
