Abstract (EN)

As part of the research, the impact of user reviews on consumer behavior in online shopping sites is being investigated within the framework of the two-step flow theory of mass communication. User reviews serve as a feedback source where consumers share their experiences with products or services. These reviews can significantly influence potential buyers' purchase decisions. User reviews provide information to consumers on aspects such as the quality, functionality, durability, price, and customer service of a product or service. Positive reviews enhance confidence in the product or service, while negative reviews can be challenging to persuade consumers. As seen in the research, consumers often shape their purchasing behavior by considering user reviews. Positive reviews emphasize the value of the product or service, encouraging consumers, while negative reviews may direct consumers to alternative options or even change their purchase decisions. In conclusion, user reviews effectively influence consumers and significantly contribute to purchase decisions. Consumers consider user reviews to learn about others' experiences regarding a product or service, and these reviews can become a crucial factor in shaping purchase decisions. To explain the potential effects of user reviews on the target audience, research has been conducted within the two-step flow theory framework, utilizing content analysis of user reviews from online shopping sites where consumers make purchases. This approach involves processing scientific data to comprehensively examine the subject.
