Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, there are many parts produced by the two-component (2K) injection molding method in vehicles. In this study, the deflector part produced with 2K molding was used. The aim of the study is carried out optimization studies by investigate the effect of production parameters on the properties of automotive parts consisting of recycled polypropylene/ethylene propylene diene monomer (PP/EPDM) produced by 2K injection. In the study; considering the process parameters of PP and EPDM, the recycled material rates were determined as 0%, 10% and 20%. The prepared materials were shaped with 2K injection molding method in optimum process parameters. The optimization study was carried out in order to determine the effect of recycling and process parameters on the dimensional change in the manufactured part. Recycled PP/EPDM parts were characterized by mechanical and microstructural analysis methods. For this purpose, aging tests were also carried out. The effects of recycling on the properties of the material were also investigated by comparing aged and unaged parts. In addition, the adhesion between PP/EPDM was also examined by comparing process parameters and recycling rates.
