Özet (EN)
Coordinate systems are used to describe each point on the earth in a geodetic sense. In order to define the coordinates of the point data on the earth, it needs a reference, that is, a datum. Most countries in the world produce maps by choosing a suitable datum. These datum differences between countries or datum changes, as in our country, reveal datum transformations. Since the differences between the old and new coordinates cause problems in the applications, the transformation operations have gained importance. In this study, different coordinate systems and two-dimensional transformation methods between these systems were investigated. Then, in line with the purpose of the application, transformations between coordinates obtained from ED50 and IRTF96 systems in Bursa region were performed, parameters were produced and new point coordinates were calculated. The mean errors were found with the calculated coordinates and the transformations were compared. Keywords: Datum, Datum Prameters, Affine Transformation, Helmert Transformation, Position Error
