Abstract (EN)

In this study, the approximation properties of bivariate generalized Jain operators are investigated. This thesis consists of nine chapters. In the first chapter, the definition of sequence linear positive operator is given and its basic properties are mentioned. Korovkin theorem is also stated. In the second chapter, the approximation properties of Jain operators are studied. In the third chapter, approximation order of Jain operators is given for spaces of continuous functions and Lipschitz class functions. In the fourth chapter, the approximation properties of bivariate generalized Jain operators are studied. In the fifth chapter, approximation order of bivariate generalized Jain operators is given for spaces of continuous functions and Lipschitz class functions. In the sixth chapter, a generalization of the Kantorovich type of Jain operators is given. In the seventh chapter, Kantorovich type generalization of bivariate generalized Jain operators is obtained. In the eighth chapter, the Voronovskaja type asymptotic approach of Jain operators is presented. Finally, in the ninth chapter, the Voronovskaja asymptotic approach of bivariate generalized Jain operators is obtained.
