Schurer type generalization of Szasz operators of two variables

Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, Schurer type generalization of Szasz operators of two variables is investigated. This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is about the introduction. In the second chapter, definition of linear positive operator is given and its fundamental properties are obtained. Also, the Korovkin theorem is given. In the third chapter, approximation properties of the Szasz operatör is obtained. Moreover a Voronowskaja type theorem is also proven for Szasz operators. In the fourth chapter, the estimation rate of approximation of the Szasz operator to the function f is obtained with the help of modulus of continuity, K functional of Peetre and Lipschitz functions. In the fifth chapter, Schurer type generalization of Szasz operators of two variables is given and the approximation properties and the rate of convergence of these operators are investigated. In addition to this, the estimation is also obtained for the function in the Lipschitz class. Moreover, a Voronowskaja type theorem is also proven for, Schurer type generalization of Szasz operators of two variables. Finally in the sixth chapter, there is the conclusion and recommendations part.
