Abstract (EN)
In this study, a two-storey building with solar energy assisted air-source heat pump heating system was analyzed experimentally. Building?s heat loss was reduced to the outer wall of the building wall materials by thermal insulation and with gas concrete application. An air-source heat pump system was used as the heating system for the building. Secondary side of heat pump (between heating flor ? heat pump) operating temperature of 50/40 °C was used in the Project. Heat pump water outlet temperature was maximum 65 °C . Hot water demand was primarily supplied by solar energy and supplemented by the heat pump system. Hence for the building?s heat demand no fossil-fuel energy source was used. It was possible to meet the building?s heat demand by the heat pump system and the solar energy panels. This study was conducted in Ankara, where very cold winters are common, to show the performance of the air-source heat pump and solar energy systems under these difficult environmental conditions.
