Abstract (EN)
In this study, a CFD analysis of a two-stroke aviation engine is performed using Ansys Forte software. The applied CFD analysis offers solutions in obtaining parameters such as turbulent flows in the cylinder, heat transfers, and chemical events occurring as a result of combustion, and power and emissions from the engine as a result of the analysis. In this context, boundary conditions, solving equations to be used, physical and chemical processes are modelled for the model to be analysed. Evaluation and interpretation of the results of the analysis are made. Then, the validation study is carried out by comparing the analysis results obtained from the engine and the experimental data. The results obtained in the applied CFD model are an important application that saves cost and time in the engine development process. In addition, the verifications made by comparing the experimental data with the analysis results provide a great benefit to the studies.
