Labor occurrence in İstanbul from the second constitutional erat to the march 31st incident

In this study, worker events experienced in the first nine months of the second constitutional period of Istanbul, where the most critical and most important dynamics of the Ottoman Empire were formed, are determined. The main subject of the study is the formation processes of workers' events that emerged in the first phase before the Industrial Revolution, then came into existence in the Ottoman Empire in a simple structure with the patterns of organization and the reactions of the state organs. In the study, social, administrative and economic problems of strikes were examined in the Second Constitutional Era. These strikes, where the demands on the increase in the salaries of the workers, which are the most common, are seen intensively, and the following work-leaving actions, are faced with great difficulties. In addition to books on the subject, the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives and newspapers were also used in the study. In particular, the original documents from the archival records and then the researchers who will work on this issue has created an important information transfer.
