Martyrdom in divine religions

In our thesis that we handle the theme "Martyrdom in Divine Religions" we tried to address the thoughts and beliefs of the martyrdom and Divine Religions about Martyrdom in the scientistic way in terms of the history of Religions. Our master thesis titled "Martyrdom in Divine Religions" consists of three sections and conclusion parts except the introduction.In introduction part, there are some details about Martyr and Martyrdom consepts as well as Martyr and Martyrdom in Turkish Society and Turkish Culture. In first section, after giving general information about Judaism the understanding of life in Judaism, hereafter belief, Jihad, martyrdom were discussed. In second section general information about Christianity, the understanding of life in Christianity, hereafter belief, Jihad and martyrdom in Christianity, were discussed. In third section of thesis general information about Islam, understanding of life in Islam, hereafter belief, Jihad and martyrdom in Islam issues were discussed. In the conclusion part, data is compared in a comparative manner with the general lines in the framework of Divine Religions.by examining hereafter belief of Divine Religions whether there is a relation between martyrdom and hereafter belief, the basic ideas that lead martyrs to be martyr, what is promised to martyrs in hereafter life...such issues were discussed.
