The relation between the book and the prophet in the Qur'an in terms of the identity and nature of the divine books: The Torah -Hz. Moses example

The Quran speaks of the divine books which have been revealed by Allah Almighty. There are some unclear situations about some of these books which are expressed with concepts such as Torah, Psalter, Bible, Suhuf, Elvah, Furkan, The Book and Qur'an. It is stated in the Qur'an that the concept of the Torah, which is one of these divine books, is clearly a divine book. The environment in which this divine book is sent and which is being held responsible for it is clearly declared by the Qur'an. However, it is not clear to whom the Torah was sent in terms of a divine Book and prophetic relation. In this case, it is not known exactly which Prophet the Torah was sent to. For this reason, various Torah definitions have been made in the fields of Religious History discipline and Tafsir discipline which are incompatible with each other. On the other hand, the content of the Torah is partially reported by the Qur'an, but it is not fully known. In this study, in order to determine the identity and nature of the Torah, the verses where the concept of the Torah is mentioned were first discussed. And then, based on the context of these verses, it was determined that the subject was based on Israelites and Moses. With the study of the relationship of the Israelites with Moses, with the divine book given to Moses, with Jesus, with Torah, with the People of the Book and Jews, which were two of the interlocutors of the time of Muhammad, it has been observed that the Torah corresponds to the divine book given to Moses. According to the results of our study, The Torah, the divine book in which they are held responsible and which in the hands of the People of the Book and the Jewish communities in the time of Muhammed, is the book revealed to Moses.
