Abstract (EN)
OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between CT perfusion parameters and treatment response and prognosis in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma after transarterial radioembolization. MATERIALS AND METHODS: In this study, between July 2018 and August 2019, in our university hospital Department of Radiology, patients who had transarterial radioembolization treatment with glass beads loaded with Ytrrium 90 due to advanced stage HCC were evaluated before and after 1 month and 3 months. BV, BF, TTS, ALP, PVP, HPI values obtained from CT and CT Perfusion studies were compared. SPSS 22 program was used for statistical analysis. Wilcoxon test, paired t test, student t test, Kruskal Wallis test, Friedman test, One Way Anova test, ROC analysis, Spearman correlation test, pearson correlation test were used. p<0.05 was considered significant. RESULTS: The analysis of CT-P quantitative data independent of treatment response showed a decrease in BF, BV and ALP values at 3 months. On the other hand, TTS value increased significantly in the 3rd month controls. Blood flow and volume decreased and arterial nutrition and enhancement rate decreased at 3 months after treatment. BF value above 81.58 was found to be 53.3% sensitive and 90% specific for progressive disease. HPI values above 88.26 were found to be 33% sensitive and 96.7% specific for progressive disease. CONCLUSION: treatment also has embolizing efficacy, and Dynamic CT Perfusion can be used both early and interim to assess treatment response. BT-P; TARE is effective in evaluating treatment response and predicting treatment outcome in patientswith HCC. Keywords: CT Perfusion Studies, HCC, Transarterial Radioembolization
