Abstract (EN)
Dry bean population with white circular seed types growing in the İspir province of Erzurum is known by delicious taste and attracts a lot of attention at nationwide. Forty bean line obtained from İspir bean population were characterized and pre-yield experiments was conducted a year ago. Fifteen bean line out of 40 was determined as promising lines. Promising lines were taken into experiments with two control varieties (Elkoca-05 and Aras-98) in terms of yield, yield components and some quality parameters. The research was conducted as Randomized Block Design with three replications in 2015 at Erzurum. Seed emergency ranged 12-14 days, flowering period 42,0-52,3 days; maturation period 114,3-140,0 days, plant length 53,3-110,5 cm; pod height 12,1-17,6 cm, number of plant branch 2,87-4,80 pieces; number of plant pod 8,4-18,4 pieces; pod length is 8,6-15,0 cm; pod quantity is 3,27-6,13; grain yield 92,9-285,0 kg/da; total yield 514,4-837,6 kg/da; harvest index %18,2-42,3; 100- seed weight 42,2-60,3 g; seed protein rate %20,48-25,05 which showed significant differences among varieties and lines. Lines were subjected to clustering analysis in terms of 14 quantitative parameters and it was observed that lines were clustered into two groups. While there are 10 lines in the first group, 5 İspir bean lines (registration number: 6, 17, 32, 40 and 69) was with standard varieties in the second group. Mean values of groups indicated that lines in the second group were maturated one week earlier. In addition, genotypes in this group gave in better results in respect to grain yield and yield components. As a result, lines 6, 32, 40 and 69 with superior yield and yield components and higher disease tolerance were decided to be transferred to advance yield experiments.
