Abstract (EN)

Global competition is forcing many end-user industries to use new or high technologies in order to add better value into their products. On the other hand when new technologies are not known or not deeply analysed, the chance for global competition may be lost. The suitable purchasing decision positively affects productivity and profit. Water-jet cutting systems which have many structural differences have been widely used in industrialised countries due to its superior operational and economic advantages. This study for helping, for the more chance of compation abrasive water jet and operation steps in metal cutting indicate to parameters of cutting and its advantage?s research and developing to other metal cutting methods.General, for surface quality?s not important application until a 3000 bar with pump system use suitable and economical. So high speed of cutting an for good surface quality, it need over 3000 bar double effect pressure amplification method implication systems must it was prefer. For the most surface quality (50 micron deepness trace in cutting surface) pressure not be fluctuation double with phase effective pressure increasing method using systems must be use.July 2008, 119 Page.Key Words: Abrasive water jet, metal cutting, water jet technology, advanced abrasive water jet applications.
