Abstract (EN)

It is worth noting that music has been a big part of human life since the existence of humanity. Learning to make sounds using their own body parts with the help of various objects without even the need for an instrument and always seeking a different tone is an admirable pursuit and development. The fact that the only common element that humanity kept on their side while having fun, fighting, hunting and even during rituals being music is an indication that they are the seeds of the musical works known today. In this study, the time periods from the first era to the renaissance were examined and illustrated information was given about the instruments played in these periods. This study starts with the "Introduction" section, which includes the titles "Problem, Importance of Research, Limitations and Universe Paradigm, Method, Model, Assumptions and Data Collection and Analysis". In the second part, information about the birth of humanity and the first percussion evolution studies are given. In the third part of the study, the relevance, importance and internal structure of percussion in ancient times are examined and the instruments are shown with figures. Accordingly, this study has been prepared to inform the reader about the first percussion evolution. Keywords: First Era, Percussion Evolution, Ancient Times, Percussions Importance, Internal Structure of Percussion
