The conflicts of the 4th and 5th-year primary education students and the observation of the solution strategies for these conflicts based on social constructivist theory

The Aim of Research: The aim of this study to examine communicationconflicts and their conflict resolution strategies between 4. and 5. class students inprimary schools based on social constructivism theory.Sampling: As the questionnaires are applying to the teachers, stratifiedsampling technique is appropriated in this view, the research used stratified isdetermined according to random sampling from stratified schools by conscription.Questionnaire for students are applied to students in selected schools givenpermission by their according to random sampling.Devices of Data Collection: In this study, data is acquired by applying twoquestionnaires for teachers and students and individual data forms.Findings: At the and of the research, between 4. and 5. class students, themost frequent living disagreement type is % 70 sulk and the least livingdisagreement type is gossip. It is established that there are differences betweenstudents? sex and disagreement types.There are meaningful differences between teachers? and students? opinionsdisagreement types. In view of teachers, students? intents disagreement related to livephysical verbal violence and moral values. According to students, students livegenerally interpersonal disagreements and communication disagreement.There are meaningful differences between disagreement solutions strategiesand tactics by sex of the students. Female students often use the mutual speaking andapologies to solve disagreements. For this reason their empathy ability is moredeveloped than male students. Male students often use destructive strategies to solvethe disagreements.
