Abstract (EN)
This research studies which teaching methods and techniques are more eligible to ensure the highest level of learning in the education of Biology subjects in Science and Technology lesson.The sample of the study is 114 students studying at primary schools bound to the Ministry of Education in Kazan and Güdül districts, Ankara. An evaluation test devised by the researcher was utilized in order to determine which teaching method could ensure a higher learning in the education of Biology subjects. In this study, pretest and posttest control group design is used. Percentage, frequency and ?t? test were used for evaluation of the results which were obtained in this research.According to the findings:A significant difference in success was observed between the experiment group with which the laboratory method was applied and the group on which the traditional teaching method was utilized. Application of the laboratory method on the education of Biology subjects increases the level of success.Key Words: Biology Education, Teaching Methods, Science and Technology, Laboratory Methods
