The effects of computer assisted instruction along with internet for 5th grade primary school students acquisition in science and tecnology lessons light and voice unit

This research has been made to investigate the effects of computer assisted Instruction along with internet for 5th grade primary school students acquisition in science and tecnology lessons light and voice unit. The study group in constituted by two primary schools in two different towns of Adana, one of which is Ganime Erzenci Primary School in Yumurtalık and the other is Kaldırım Primary School in Yumurtalık. The study group is constituted by means of forty six 5th grade students whom were chosen through random selection method. The equality of chosen groups is provided by taking into account the marks and the socio-economic levels of the students. The data, used in the research, were gathered by means of ?pre and post test? which was developed by the researcher, while developing the test, first the indicator chart was developed and then for each process one or two guestions were prepared. The pre-treatment test which was prepared beforehand was applied to the students of Zeynepli primary school and item analysis was made either. As a conclusion the KR-20 coefficient of the test was appeared as `.92?. The unsuitable items were eliminated and required items were corrected. The prepared test was applied to the students before and after the experiment. The data gathered from the test were analysed by means of SPSS 10.0 packet program ttest and the meaningfulness was tested at, .05 level.The results obtained from the research are briefly as follows: 1. There is no meaningful difference is found between the pre-test point averages of 5th grade students who are applied computer assisted instruction along with internet in teaching of science and tecnology light and voice unit and the students who are taught through the method of 2005 education programme. 2. There is a meaningful difference is found in favor of experimental group between the post-test point averages of 5th grade students who are applied computer assisted instruction along with internet in teaching of science and tecnology light and voice unit.and the students who are taught through the method of 2005 education programme. 3. There is a meanigful difference is found in favor of experimental group between the differency points (acquisition points) averages of 5th grade students who are applied computer assisted instruction along with internet in teaching of science and tecnology light and voice unit.and the students who are taught through the method of 2005 education programme. 4. In teaching light and voice unit in science and tecnology in 5th grade primary school lesson, there is no meaningful difference is found between differency points (acquisition points) averages of male and female students who use computer assisted instruction along with internet. 5. In teaching light and voice unit in science and tecnology in 5th grade primary school lesson, there is no meaningful difference was found between differency points (acquisition points) averages of male and female students who use the method of 2005 education programme. 6. There is a meanigful difference is found in favor of experimental group between the differency points (acquisition points) averages of 5th grade male students who are applied computer assisted instruction along with internet in teaching of science and tecnology light and voice unit.and the male students who are taught through the method of 2005 education programme. 7. There is no meanigful difference is found in between the differency points (acquisition points) averages of 5th grade female students who are applied computer assisted instruction along with internet in teaching of science and tecnology light and voice unit.and the female students who are taught through the method of 2005 education programme.
