The point of views of the 6th class students about the ?three dimensional virtual museum visit? activity in visual arts lesson

This study was done on the purpose of determining the point of vews of the primary education second grade 6th class students about the three dimensional museum visit activity.Descriptive Analysis Method was applied in the research. The population of the reseach is the second grade 6th class students in the private and state schools of the Ministry of National Education in Ankara city centre. . The sample of the study consists of 23 students who were chosen from the second grade 6th class students of a private primary education school in Yenimahalle. An interview form, a pre-questionnaire and a post-questionnaire which were developed by the researcher were used as the data collection tool.The application was done in the school environment by the researcher himself. The answers of the open-ended questions of the questionnaire were coded into four groups and outcoming percentiles were analyzed. Ankara State Art and Sculpture Museum, which offers three dimensional virtual museum visit opportunity on the Internet, was chosen as the application area related to the theme of the thesis.At the end of the research;1. According to the primary education second grade school students? point of views, in the case of applying three dimensional virtual museum visit, it was determined that certain amount of contribution was provided to the education of Visual Arts.2.In the case of museums becoming effective in virtual world with "three dimensional virtual museum visit", the "education" function of museums will reach the large masses.3.
