Researching about the pupils who are in the 6th through the three dimensional level in the qualitative research process

This study is aimed to examine to determine the levels of three dimensional thinking and to investigate gender variable of the elementary sixth grade students.As a means of data collection, Uttal, Meadow, Hgirland, Lewis, Warren and Mewcombe (2008) developed by the Organization Chart for Spatial Skills? is used.Those 10 students (3 girls 7 boys) in 6th grades who are the pupils at Private Evrensel Elementary School in Ankara constitute the sample of the research. In this study, stratified random sampling method was used.The main reason preffering method forming the stcructure of this research is; observation, qualitative data collection and document analysis is being used for this research. This is improtant for ensuring the adverement of results more realistic and holistic.As a result, students; Spatial Skills Level of Autonomy for the Organization Chart sub - dimensions, spatial imaging, and Spatial Level of Level of Understanding are successful in answering questions related to, but mentally answering questions related to Level Conversion Level and Perspective Taking were found to have deficiencies.
