In this research, two banner works were done on the theme of ?Stray Animals? in the Visual At lesson in the course of the acquisition of the Ministry of National Education, before and after they had education about the principles and elements of design, by the same 15 students of 7th grade Ankara city, Çankaya Region, Private Pi college. In order to determine whether the education effects the banners of the students or not, taking into account of linear development stages, options of the experts were taken and a ?Banner Rating Scale? was developed. Totally 30 banner Works were evaluated by three field experts. In this research, one grouped experimental design model was used. The t-test results were evaluated by the researcher by using the banners which were examined by the experts by the means of SPSS 17 packet programme and every criterian point was compared according to the alterability of they had education or not. Present avarage points were compared and the results were obtained. As a result of the research, it is determined that the education about design principles and elements contribute a positive affect on 7th grade students? banner works.
