An evaluation of the parents? views levels of the values stated in the 7th grade social studies

This research was carried out in Kastamonu in order to define the parents attitudes towards the values which are in the 7th Grade Social Studies Curriculum.248 parents of 7th grade students who live in the city center of Kastamonu participated in the research . The research is in the model of pre test and post test consisting of one group. Measurements were made at the beginning and end of the academic year. ?Personal Information Form? was used to get the demographic information of students and parents and data was obtained through ? Scale developed towards the values the parents? views which are in the 7th Grade Social Studies Curriculum?.The data obtained was analyzed by use of SPSS. The collected data was analyzed using t-test for pre-test and post test samples and two way variance analysis (ANOVA) for repetetive measurements of one factor.
