Abstract (EN)

This study has been carried out with the purpose to commentate the contribution to cause of 8th graders to earn culture of democracy as ? democracy education and school councils?.The location of this survey has been Kütahya province. 6 primary school that diferences about socio-economic status has been select in the center of Kütahya.These schools? 8th gradershave been taken in to the scope of this survey and working about to earn democracy culture as Project.A questionnaire including two parts has been applied to 8 th graders in the schools that are taken into the scope of this survey. Questionnaire include 53 entry each, the first part is about particular and second part is about acquisitionof democracy. The questionnaires prepared heve been applied to 624 students. 534 entry evaluated because approve as data item. The others data have not valuation because of answered missing part.When the data collected by questionnaire is examined, it is realised that cause of 8th graders to earn culture of democracy as ? Democracy Education and School Councils? be effective. As a result of the study, significant differences were found between gender and parents? educational background. Significant difference weren?t found between socio-economic status.By using these results, there ara some suggestions. These are ? Democracy Education and School Councils? will carry forward to devolepment by school with systematical, practices must do effectual, educational actions need to add for the teachers about Project.
