This is a descriptive study done on primary school 8th grade students to analyze; if there is a correlation between their aggression levels and levels of perceived social support (general, family, friends and teachers); furthermore if it changes according to aggression and perceived social support levels, according to gender, to perceived economic status, to the perceived level of academic achievement, to being together with the parents or not, to mother and father?s condition of being or not being together and to the education levels of mother and father.The research group consists of the nine primary schools in the academic year of 2009-2010 under the run of the Ministry of Education in Ankara province Çankaya, Gölbaşı and Yenimahalle townships and consists of 590 volunteer students 306 of whom are girls and 284 of whom are boys.In the research data on students' levels of aggression were evaluated by "Aggression Scale " developed by Tuzgöl (1998), data on levels of perceived social support were evaluated by Perceived Social Support Scale" developed and revised by Yıldırım (1997), (2004a) respectively and the independent variations of data were collected by the researcher with the 'Personal Information Form'.SPSS 17 package program was used to analyze the data. In the analysis in the relationship between the dependent variables Pearson Moment Correlation Analysis was used, when the differences between the groups were tested t- Test was used while the size of independent variable was 2, when it was more than two One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used. When the F value was important Tukey-Kramer test was used in order to determine the difference of the source in group means.In this study the following were found:?The higher the levels of aggression gets, the lower gets the levels of perceived social support for students,?Male students? level of aggression is higher than the girls, and it didnt change according to the to perceived economic status, to the perceived level of academic achievement, to being together with the parents or not, to mother and father?s condition of being or not being together and to the education levels of mother and father,?Girl students whose perceived economic status, perceived level of academic achievement, who are together with the parents, whose mother and father are together are found to get higher levels of perceived social support,?Girls and boys with equal levels of social support perceived, whose perceived economic status, perceived level of academic achievement, who are together with the parents, whose mother and father are together are found to get higher levels of perceived social support from their families,?Girl students, whose perceived level of academic achievement, who are together with the parents, whose mother and father are educated are found to get the same levels of perceived social support from their friends and girls who are together with the parents, whose mother and father are together are found to get higher levels of perceived social support,?Girl students whose perceived economic status, perceived level of academic achievement, who are together with the parents, whose mother and father are together are found to get higher levels of perceived social support from their teachers,The results of the research were discussed in the light of literature and suggestions were made according to the findings.Key Words/Concepts: Aggression, Perceived Social Support
