Primary school 6th class students? skill of using the types of words

This study has been made in order to detect the primary school 6th class students?skill of using the types of words.The study has a descriptive quality.Primary school 6th class students in Ankara make up the study environment.The participants consist of 155 6th class students from three socio-economically different schools in Ankara city center.Students were asked to write informative and narrative texts in order to detect the skill of using the types of words. In order to determine the factors that effect the acquisition of using the types of words; a questionnaire is applied which contains the topics of sex, kindergarten education, parents?educational level , the difference of text type.
