The investigation of problems in the fifth grade mathematics textbook and study book of student of the primary education and the definition opinions of the teachers about this problems

In this study it is aimed to investigate problems in the fifth grade mathematics textbook and study book of student which are used at primary schools in Adana during the educational year 2008-2009 with list of problem control which is formulated by researcher and to determine the opinions of teachers concerning this problems. The research was based on a survey model where qualitative method was used.In study, list of problem control which is formulated by researcher ıs used to collect concerning datas of problems. List of problem control is used to provide reliability of investigate by the other researcher applied same problems again and look between correlation. Same time nine teacher of elementary school is interviewed. Under the direction of the aims of the resarch those were set that are dissociations of frequency and percentage regarding the result emerge from investigate .According to datas of invesitgation, it is revealed tahat the problems mentioned are sufficient according to language, expression and visual elements but the content is unsufficient according to propriety og 2005 Mathematics Teching Programme aims and the type of problem. In the direction of these results, suggestions have been given for the development of the problems.Keywords: Problem, Solving Problem, Mathematics Textbook
