Teaching of foreign language started approximately 5000 years ago. After the Akkadians conquered Sumerians, learning of foreign language started as Akkadians learned Sumerian language. The following foreign languages were Greek and Latin. There were more need to learn foreign language after commerce has been developed due to Roneissance. Therefore words which consist of ten languages have been made in order to match this need.Recently globalisation of the world and technological developments have shown that learning foreign language has been becoming more important. A lot of new methods were developed for teaching ? learning . The most common method is ?Transaction oriented method? which is the most student based method. In this method developing vocabulary is important and new techniques were developed to get attention of the students. After this method has been applied, self-development of the students has increased. The students can express themselves in the most appropriate way in different cases by applying what they learned.
